Just talked to the Doctor at the Cancer Center a little while ago. CAT scan I had on Monday came back "not good". Seems my {colon} cancer has spread to lymph nodes near the lungs, and a spot on the liver. Since last Tuesday, my leg has blown up again, this time, it's painful in my calf in my right leg. I have to do the Quasimodo shuffle to walk.

So I asked the Doc if I have "limited time". He says, "yes".  Sad
Of course, he doesn't know how long. Any more chemo would not help, as it hasn't helped up till now. Seems as if I've exhausted all options.

So at least now I can finally give up looking for a job. Crappy Cleveland market, anyway. Angry

In times like this, all we can do is DRINK LOTS OF BEER!!  Shocked

Anything I can do to make you comfortable, content and happy, let me know. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a technilogical request. You never know what you might get if you just ask. Of course I wish I had a spare set of lungs, colon, liver and lymph nodes, but I'm not quite tied in with the black market.  Wink

Prayers and much laughter for you, my friend.

Oyle you are an awesome dude I meet you and really enjoyed our time chilling at the coffee shop and hanging out at NotACon. Keep fighting as I have faith in you! If there is anything I can do let me know! Hell we all support you so if you feel you time is short let us know what you would like! kinda of like "make a wish" for a fellow nerd! All I can say is you have a lot of fight left in you so tell that cancer to F**k off and keep on hacking!

Your Friend,

Brian Wilson

Hey Oyle,

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't give up hope and don't give up fighting. My thoughts are with you. I'd also like to appologize (again) for causing you some angst and sleepless nights a while back when we had a disagreement about one of the threads here. I know we've settled this a long time ago by PM, but I just thought I'd say it again publicly.

May the force be with you!!

I don't know you but from reading some of your posts I know you are strong and brave. I admire you.

Hang in there man, don't stop fighting. I'll be praying for you. Let us know if you need anything.

Has anyone heard from Oyle? How did his cancer treatment go?
His account has been inactive for nearly a year now, and this does not bode well.  Cry

I've sent several messages both on board and off and got no response. I fear the worst as well. Either way, my prayers are with him and his family.
