hi blackazarro,

Great Blackazarro. I knew about CEH in 2003 and preparing from that time but with gap and I cannt find the exact method of preparation. This site is like a dream come true.

Please give me the answers of these question below:

Are any questions come from below New Module in CEH V5 ?
   * Writing Windows Exploits
   * Reverse Engineering
   * Covert Hacking
   * Advanced Virus Writing Skills

Which type of dump you use in CEH V5 like Test King ,Actual Test,etc?

How many questions come from Dump (in percentage) ?

How many questions come from tools and theory (in percentage) ?

In which time I purchase dump before paper (in days) ?

How can I find that when latest dump will expire and also this dump is latest?

Regards,
Cector

i wont get on a high horse here about dumps.

i'll just say this:

you'll feel much better about yourself if you pass without using them.

i've been in both places and the satisfaction of passing a test on your own is way better than passing a test with the help of brain dumps.

To answer your questions...

No, the modules you have listed are self-study only, they are not included on the exam.

To pass the exam, read through the official EC-Council v5 courseware. If you want to take a shortcut, get the official Review Guide from Sybex as it mirrors the objectives of the exam.

0 questions come from dumps... dumps come from exam questions.

Probably 70% of the questions are tool-related.

Don't use dumps. You give us other certified folks a negative perspective from others.

I agree with both Chris and venom. It took me 8 months to study for this exam  and I only use the practice test to see how I was doing. If I had one of the questions wrong, I would go back and check my resources. And if I was having problem with a particular subject I would then reread all the material that has to do with that subject. In order to past the exam, you are required to have thorough knowledge of the subject and really understand it completely.

Also, in my exam  the questions were well distributed in terms of the type of question being asked. It was well balanced. In other words, study the material completely and focus on those subjects that you are having problems understanding because I'll guarantee that it will be asked in your exam.

This is great info in regards to both the exam itself and overall information for the profession. I hope to tackle the CEH exam sometime next year (I am finishing up MCSA 2003 and I have completed three of the major Comptia certs).
I have used both on-site training courses and self-study (really preferring the latter). I look forward to learning from those that have actually worked in the field, and eventually professionally contributing to the field. Thanks!
