- OpenSSL library upgrade to version 0.9.8e.

This is one of the few tools that gets constant updating. Over the years this has become one of those must have tools. Get it here:

Cain & Abel v4.9.4 released.

New features:
- Automatic Certificate Collector for FTPS (implicit), IMAPS and POP3S protocols.
- FTPS Man-in-the-Middle Sniffer and password collector.
- POP3S Man-in-the-Middle Sniffer and password collector.
- IMAPS Man-in-the-Middle Sniffer and password collector.
- Added Windows Mail (Vista) Password Decoder for POP3, IMAP, NNTP, SMTP and LDAP accounts.
- Added PTW WEP cracking attack.
- Added Windows Vista support in Wireless Password Decoder.
- Wireless Password Decoder now uses DLL injection under XP.

Now if I could just fork out the cash for the airpcap USB-Sniffer ($200) I would be so happy. Cain & Able is the top Windows based password auditing tool out there hands down. Plus the fact Mao gives it out free only makes it that much sweeter.

(Update!.!.!  AVG is now id'ing Cain as a virus. You will need to go to the AVG control panel and add cain as an exception form scanning)

anyone have any issues with cain closing when trying to submit to rainbowcrack-online?

Without sounding rude there is a support forum over at oxid.it and I think you would get more help there with bugs. I do remember seeing someone else on the oxid.it support forums having the same issue but I think it was related to the winpcap version some how. Try to reinstall both Cain and winpcap and see if that fixes it. If not them test drive the oxid.it forums and do come back here for all other security and hacking phun.
