Anyone subscribe to Hackin9
http://en.hakin9.org/
?
Sounds like a very interesting print magazine based out of the EU.. I'm thinking about subscribing but I’m worried that they might be fly be night... close shop after a couple of issues.

They've been around for a while...in fact I think I saw one of their ads on the ad banner here at EH.

The best way I can think to respond is to point you to their past issues area of their web site:
http://www.hakin9.org/en/haking/issues.html
They've been at it a few years, and they have distribution in Barnes & Noble, so I don't think they'll be closing after a few more issues.
Hope this helps,
Don

I've been subscribing Hakin9 for over a year now and the magazine is awesome. Borders at my home town started to sell this magazine so I think that they're going to be here for a while. As a matter of fact, the magazine is getting popular. For beginners, make sure to check out Hakin9 starterkit. I've subscribed to both magazines.

Thanks, I'm sold.
makes me wonder what other cool magazines i may be missing out on.
Besides this mag, 2600 and the "Information Security Magazine".. are there other security magazines I should consider subscribing to?

Try this post:

Why pay for it when you can get it for free. I'm sure someone famous said that at least once in their life.

I just joined Hackin9 as a beta tester. Since they ship to over 20 countries I can not imagine it will be hard for me to acquire a subscription be delivered to an APO/FPO. Thanks for your help.
Special thanks to Don and everyone here and at CSP who have helped me so far. I am going to continue to visit the site throughout my tour.

Sorry, I only have hard copies. Anyhow, you don't have to subscribe to this mag for hacking and security informations. There's plenty on the Internet for free!!

If you buy such mags at a bookstore, be careful to pay in cash. You don't want to get on anyone's list...
