Hey guys,

I know that this tool is out there (among others like it) but I don't recall the name. I'm looking for something that can rip a .swf video from a web page. I know WebTheRipper can grab stuff, but I think it had problems with flash before. I know there's a better tool out there... anyone know what I might be talking about?

I think that flashget will do what you're looking for (flashget.com). There's also the flashgot extension for FF (addons.mozilla.org/firefox/220).

flashgot plugin is actually a sort of a download manager. It will not rip flash files.

I don't think there is a FF extension to do this.
