I know I can make one generalization about computer people that we will all agree.  We love free stuff!   If you are like me, you still love to read things in hard copy. The computer is ok but holding a book or magazine is still my preferred way of reading. There are some very nice IT magazines that if you take the time to fill out a simple questionnaire, they will mail you for free. Some of these are surprisingly well done. Here are a few good ones to start with. Hopefully others here will add to this list. If you know of a great free magazine that is IT related, please post!

SC magazine - A nice format on shiny paper with interesting over views of security related news.

Baseline magazine - Surprisingly well done and weighty magazine with security topics.

Eweek magazine - Smaller format, but gives a very well done overview of security and other IT topics.

SD times - More for the software coders, but even if you are not, it can give you a little insight into that world.

Network computing magazine – Has interesting security and networking related articles.

This is great and all, but I'm not affiliated with a company. I highly doubt they will send me a free complimentary subscription just because I'm a student majoring in Information Security.

Any suggestions on how to bypass this?
