ok so its tax time...

does paying for a certifcation count as a deduction under the lifelong learning credit deduction?

I used certs and I also claimed the books but I did it under work related expenses.

My CPA tells me everything counts if it’s related to your business. I have written off Certs, software, hardware, training, seminar, laptops, etc…  Keep those receipts and all should be ok.
