You will begin by assisting our consulting team setting sales appointments and building valuable customer relationships. 

SecureState LLC is an information security assessment & protection firm serving commercial, professional service and government entities throughout the Great Lakes Region. SecureState is the premier provider of innovative security services that address Physical, Logical and Personnel security layers to include: e.discovery, data forensics, attack & penetration testing, security compliance, INFOSEC and vulnerability testing.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Develop, create, qualify, and manage sales opportunities through forecasting, account strategy, and planning.
•   Manage sales through calls and demonstrations to manage positioning, and strategies.
•   Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns.
•   Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Security products and technologies, competitors, industry trends.
•   Work in conjunction with consultants to develop strategies, solutions, etc.
•   Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and products to leverage in sales cycle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•   BS or BA; Degree in Computer Science/Business/Accounting/Finance a plus.
•   Consistent performance against quotas, goals and targets.
•   Proven ability to manage sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment .
•   Excellent communication skills with customers/prospects.
•   Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and excellent organizational skills.
•   Strong verbal and written communication.
•   Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

 POSITION:
Information Security Audit & Compliance Consultant
 DESCRIPTION:
The ideal Audit and Compliance Consultant will have a blend of technical, organizational, and operational security experience, skill sets and knowledge.  This would mean the ability to perform both high-level assessment work such as auditing and low-level assessment work such as ethical hacking.  The focus of this position is on the high-level area to help augment audit support.  As a senior-level position, there is an expectation that the individual has project management experience with the ability to manage clients and schedule technical resources for an engagement.   

QUALIFICATIONS:
•   A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
•   Approximately 5-7 years of experience in the security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
•   Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM
•   Desirable to have experience in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) – Qualified Data Security Professional QDSP or Qualified Security Assessor QSA.
•   Helpful to possess CEH, Cisco Certifications, security vendor certifications, and SANS GSEC or other SANS certification.
•   Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
•   Strong judgment and analytical ability.
•   Ability to work effectively with clients, management, staff members, vendors, and consultants.
•   Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Risk Management Consultant

 DESCRIPTION:
The Risk Management Consultant designs information security architecture utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. This professional defines complex architectural information security solutions to address business needs. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of the client area's applications, functions and systems. The incumbent must be competent to work at a high technical level of all phases of architectural design and implementation.   
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Lead the design and construction of architectural information security solutions to facilitate the implementation of appropriate security measures into SecureState’s systems and products.
•   Conduct the development, testing and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques.
•   Provide clients, management and staff members with a high level of technical expertise and support in risk assessment and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products.
•   Maintain an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups as well as State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security. Communicate relevant information to appropriate management.
•   Identify regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards, and procedures, and recommend appropriate changes.
•   Provide assistance and training to information security architecture staff members.
•   Lead the monitoring and evaluation of systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
•   Identify and determine causes of security violations and recommend corrective actions to ensure data security.
•   Implement changes to procedures and systems to enhance data systems security.
•   Communicate security procedures to users.
•   Provide security-related data to the technology budget process.
