Thanks Gates, All I Need To Do Is Learn How To Put This Script Into The MSF, it'd be useful for someone to aim me that way, if it's not too much trouble Cheesy

Thanks for both your guys' responses. Thanks also to kev for providing that path to the firewall log. I was also wondering if there are anymore logs that could be cleare/deleted using the meterpreter, I'm trying to make sure my homie doesn't catch me here.

Sup Everyone?
Had a basic question or so was wondering if anyone could aim me in the right direction.
A buddy of mine and I have developed a small scheme to see which of us can access each other's computers first without any type of alarm triggering. I can bypass into his with his permission using an exploit in the Metasploit Framework however I'd like to be abit more stealthier. I dont have any custom scripts, but I was wondering, which files in a Windows Xp Machine should be deleted or cleared(Meaning Log Wise, Provide a path for me if you can) so when  he looks through his logs, he wouldnt be able to tell I was Any advice would help guys thanks, and Happy Holidays.

ah yeah, my bad bud. The solution was rather simple, I just forgot to forward a port that metasploit was using in order to send over it's payload. Everyone be sure to have those ports forwarded properly when using Metasploit or you can't get the job done correctly. Mad Props To HD Moore and the others on it.  Grin

Hello To All.
I had a simple question or 2, I was wondering, considering I use a router, Should I Enabled the 'Filter Internet NAT Redirection' on it? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the metasploit issue i've been having. Check it out below:
*]  Local IP: http://192.168.1.101:8080/misctexthere
  • Server started.
  • Started bind handler
  • Sending exploit to A.B.C.D:1898...
  • Transmitting intermediate stager for over-sized stage...(89 bytes)
  • Sending stage (2834 bytes)
  • Sleeping before handling stage...
  • Uploading DLL (81931 bytes)...
The Payload Gets This Far, And Quits, I've tested it on several hosts, and it never finishes uploading the DLL. I do have port 443 forwarded as well as 8080. Any Ideas? Thanks in Advance.

Well the basics of what i'm doing is scanning a range of hosts for vulnerability. If i scan single hosts at a time of course it will be slower. Thanks for your reply jimbob, i'll attempt the -T4.

Chris Gates, I'm a fan. Contacted you through e-mail earlier today about msf 3.1, disregaurd that e-mail. I'm on a laptop. Linksys Router, I am scanning outside of the subnet.
491  Ethical Hacking Discussions and Related Certifications / Network Pen Testing / Nmap problem. on: September 08, 2007, 08:02:33 PM
First off, i wanted to say nice site. I've found it useful for alot of my problems. I've recently contacted Fyodor, and another nmap user about this issue. Of course, Fyodor is too busy to answer, and the other user hasnt been able to help with my situation. Here's the problem:
Current OS: BackTrack 2 (Figured You'd Need This Info)
Nmap Version: (Tried 4.20 Standard With BackTrack, Now Installed 4.22)
I'm running scans on 50 hosts at a time, scanning the 4th Octet of the ip address. The Command I'm using is provided below:
nmap -p 21,42,445,1433,1434,3389,5900 -P0 -T Insane xxx.xxx.xxx.1-50
My issue is nmap is returning invalid results, its telling me all of the ports are open on each individual machine. Why is this? All help/suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advanced. Grin
