In the realm of cyber security, threats are treated in isolation, analysed in separation from the actor behind the attack, or the cyber weapon that is utilised in the incident. This may have been because of a lack of resources and skills, or it may be because organisations do not see how the identity of the actor affects their tactical choices in deploying its defence, unless the attack was perpetrated internally.

As the U.S. and India inked the cyber shield agreement last week in New Delhi to increase information sharing on cyber security, our upcoming event- Cyber Warfare India- presents a must-attend opportunity to discuss new requirements of both the Indian Armed Forces and key related cyber organisations such as CERT-In.

The Integrated Defence Staff are looking to upgrade INFOSEC technologies, including firewalls and IPS network suites and have also stressed the long-term need to integrate C412 networks across the Armed Forces.
