Your lab time will not start until you begin using it..but I believe there is a time limit to how long you can wait to start your lab (I believe it's 120 days but Armando you will have to confirm this).
I watched the web seminar and started the course yesterday. I'm really liking it so far. I will provide updates in a few weeks.
I have one minor tip: Even though you have experience, I would first review the PDF and video's...and then start the lab. I have heard this suggestion from multiple people.
1. Definitely. 2. I send a PM maybe once or twice a month? 3. I would be interested. I know you have a lot of experience security professionals writing for you but what if you took another approach…a newbie in security, working his way up the ranks professionally and academically (certs/security related schooling). I think having a “green” security professional blogger will help a lot of the new-comers relate. 4. I would be willing to help test in any way I can. 5. I would be happy to help moderate as well. 6. I don’t think I can help in this department. 7. I do not use Twitter, so I have no opinion.
Does anyone know the exact day this course is being released? I know on the website, it says an April release but I was wondering if anyone knew what the exact date?
"We are the only one doing a real *pentest* as exam. If you don't get the difference between pentest and hacking, try smarter (harder was trademarked)."
I'm confused by this comment? How is the OSCP exam not a real "pentest" exam?
