Ethical Hacking Discussions and Related Certifications / Malware / Symantec Endpoint Protection - Rapid Release Definitions

For those of you who use SEP, do any of you apply the rapid release definitions? We had done this once in the past due to a bot outbreak we had, but the clients were affected afterward and could not update beyond the rapid release definition. It looks like there is another worm outbreak and have seen reports of some users receiving spam email with a *.html attachment. They have addressed this in the rapid release definition. Does anyone apply these and is it good practice to do in general?

There is new worm that is really nasty that was released yesterday.
From CERT:
US-CERT is aware of public reports of malware spreading via email. These reports indicate that the malicious email messages contain the subject line "Here you have" or "Just For You" and contain a link to a seemingly legitimate PDF file. If users click on this link, they will be redirected to a malicious website that will prompt them to download and install a screensaver (.scr) file. If they agree to install this file, they will become infected with an email worm that will continue to propagate through their email contacts.

Freedom, baby. It's a wonderful thing. I'm a lucky man to have been born in the greatest country this planet has ever know. I wish nothing but the same principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to all of the EH-Net family and their respective countries. Sorry for my bias, but even if the grand experiment hits bumps in the road, it is IMHO the best philosophy on which to build a nation and worth fighting for. Don Agreed. Happy 4th to my fellow Americans.

Ethical Hacking Discussions and Related Certifications / Compliance, Regulations & Standards / HIPAA Security Training

OK folks, here is my dilemma: we have a requirement to have employees take a HIPAA security test for HIPAA training and am not sure how it applies to temporary employees. One scenario that was brought to me was what if there is a temporary employee who works for one day, a couple of days or one week; do they need to take this training? HIPAA guidelines are not very clear and concise in my opinion.
I just want to make sure that we are covered and fulfill the HIPAA requirements for security training. Has anyone been in this situation before?
Thanks all!
