Since last few days i am reading each OSCP post and it sounds like fun..! even i am enjoying reading each post.. I have done few cert is past which include CCNA, RHCE, Solaris, Security+ and CEH but look like real one waiting for me... I have few stupid question regarding this cert, actually i tried to find 'em on offensive-security website but i didnt get proper answer so thought you could help me..

1. Is course and lab training is required for appearing in exam ?
2. Where to get this exam ? i meant any specific location of city ?
3. How much cost for certification?

Today I passed my CEH v6 with 99% score.

Summery:

Books Material:
1. CEH Exam Prep (Michael Gregg)
2. Official Certified Ethical Hackers Review Guide. (Kimberly Graver)
3. Ec-Council's C|Eh 312-50 Instructor Slides (Only few chapters Voip/Mobile etc.)
4. EC-Council's 6 DVD CBT video (Helpful to understand stuff)


I would say please use CBT because. It's helpful to understand stuff. CEH exam prep and Review guides are awesome one. one more thing please use google for more help about study because those book will not cover all stuff like Blackberry/bluetooth/GPS are not in those book.


They asked lots of question on Nmap/Hping2/buffer overflow,SQL injection Technic also they asked honeytoken question which was new for me.
