i'm OSCP certified, Offensive security 101 is superior than CEH, and totally practical i already CPTS certified and i know CEH requeriments. i'm taking WiFu course, is a very very very interesting course. and off course is totally practical as Offensive Security 101. cheers

my lab? well i have a P4 3Gh with 2Gb ram, 3HD, 160, 80 and 60Gb, Windows server 2003 ent. R2 vmware workstation 5.5 with: - 2000 pro - 2000 adv server - solaris 8, 9, 10 - debian 4 - windows XP pro - centos 5 - Ubuntu 7.04 - FreeBSD - OpenBSD - etc. a laptop with Debian 4 and BackTrack 2 (for attacks, scans, ...) a pII 366Mhz with Debian 4 as secure gateway a laptop (from my wife) with Debian 4 + Xfce4

Hi, my exam preparation was: my OSCP certification from offensive-security (the best preparation for me) Certified Ethical Hacker Exam Prep (QUE 2006) a very good book Security Warrior book ... and a small virtual lab at home thanks

os101 is a good good good course and cert. it has been hard, but i have learned very much.

ok blackazarro, thanks, i don't have finished all my labs exercises, extra challenge exercises, BOB is my nightmare !!!!!! i can't exploit it, i scanned, detected, banner grabbing his services .... but CAN'T EXPLOIT thanks. carlos.

maybe, but exam is a stranger network to attack, you have 24hrs to attack this network. i have taken the course and labs. i assure to you is a hard course, and offensive-security staff say "certification challenge is a HARD exam". a few of information will be well received . offensive-security staff has total silence about exam . thanks. --- MCSA2003, MCP working in OSCP
