The probably with a lot of offensive positions is that you often have to be willing to relocate and/or travel. We've struggled filling the couple positions we've opened over the last year, and I know many other organizations are having the difficulty. MaXe literally moved halfway around the world for the gig he's at now. Working out the logistics may be more challenging than actually finding a position.
I notice that, I just saw one that it is talking about 50% travel. My job was 90% travel (around the city). Normally when I see a job with travel I always think between states. What about the telecommute, doesn't work for you guys?

I can tell you I am in the transition process, I begin around the 39. I've been taking trainings online, reading book, etc.
I am a System/Network admin, so every time I install a new system, or we got a new customer I scan the network or server, sometimes I test my own new servers.
I am keep building the skill before the full transfer. Just the last weekend I found a vulnerability in one of the custom application, I liked a lot.

Not really the point of the thread, but I have a default group of dictionaries I use that contain over 165 million, and that's just the starting list (which would not have found the words you were looking for either). I also screen scrape web sites of clients and find new dictionaries unique to the target, which often yield better results than the default dics.
I think is the is the better way to crack the password, use the info in their website or social network where they visit

You answered a lot my questions, I read his book and I always keep thinking a need a methology to work in order and completed without focus to much in everything (means not a real focus).
I've been reading a lot of books, took many trainings but I still need to became solid and had one way to do it.
I took 4 years ago one training from Heorodot.com (his old site), and I remember pritty good how he tought about compramise the account and target, it was good, I still remember it.
