Thanks for the write up. I think its really good that you point you sometimes it the most simple methods in order to own something. I think a lot newbi to security sometimes miss the simple things and being aware of them separates the newbi from the pro.

I have not really done a lot on WSDL so this has opened my eyes to whats possible.

Very interesting there is a really good talk about random numbers by Paco Hope. That I think relates to these types of topics. He basically explains how random functions are not really random and how things can be predicted. It is worth a look if you can find it online it should be on youtube when he gave it at bsidelondon last year.

hmm from what I understand most course are not really short at uni. You maybe better of doing a course online like elearn.

Does anyone know if a patch been released yet I know there was a temp fix but also heard that it didn't always fix the problem.

There are lots free website that have material on for python. I would say do the basic free stuff so learn loops,ifs,  so on then do securitytube python course.
