Do you have any sort of backup ? I think the first step would be trying to work out how they done it as if you just reupload your site they will do it again.

It looks like you are running wordpress did you keep it upto date ?
Have you tried to run tools like wp-scan to identify any issue on your site before it got hacked?

Do you even have access to the site any more ?

Yah that ture there some HTML need for PHP but IMO HTML is not hard to pick up and could be done at same time as PHP. I just saying I dont think learning the in and outs of HTML is worth the time.

Yah securitytube vids are really good. I stared going thought them but didnt get round to finishing them as other things took over. I really need to go back and go thought them again tbh

I found knowing the basic does really help loads. You can also pratice more complex attack like vlan hoping with cdp so on...

yes but people always drop their guard it just human nature. Some of it as well is when people don't get caught they get greedy and think they never get caught so take more risk its same reason why most bank robbers get caught and other criminals they always take that one step too many.

yes that is true but there is no point learning HTML if you never plan on touching a web site. I would say its bit waste of time I would learn something that you can use now and really get into maybe Python and write some security tools
