I'll be taking on the PWB later this year or early next year and I fully intent to pay for extensions and fail a test or two 

It's tough to see in times like this but if you take a step back and look to your skill level when you first started the PWB I'd imagine that you're night and day better now.

I plan on getting one for resume/box checking fodder but i don't anticipate learning a ton studying for it.

2012 was the year i started studying pen testing and hopefully 2013 will be the year i get decent at it

Adding computer knowledge to my brain while removing pounds around my waist are my two big goals.

I've been going through the attack-secure (was ninja-sec) samurai skills course and i've been happy with it.

I haven't taken any other onlline courses so i can't compare it to the others but i picked it up during a half-off sale, learned a lot from the videos and have been having a blast in the labs.
