I'm new to these boards , I just joined today. 

I'm considering taking the CEH  test  but since v5 is expiring in June 2009 ...
does anyone know when v6  will be released?   

I also contacted the EC council and the  person I spoke to told me that if you  take the test at a prometric center  the eligibility codes are valid through 2011 but the VUE eligibility codes are only good until 2/2009.   

I just completed the GIAC GCFW cert so Im planning to take a break from studing through the holidays.  Im not sure if I should submit my eligibility form now or wait until the new year. 

any suggestions would be great .
