If I'm understanding you correctly it sounds like you're trying to have a mail client(ie.. outlook) communicate with either mail server. Have you set up a cluster of some sort for the messaging environment?? Is this exchange/domino/etc?? I'm still not clear what your exact issue is by your description.

How are the mail servers connected?? via private line ie T1/DS3? What has changed since then? Do the logs on either mail server show anything suspicious? Please provide a little more detail as to what is exactly failing? The more information you can provide us the better we will be able to help you!

Attack: 2 laptops running VM Workstation Servers: tower running VM Workstation Infrastructure: (2) Cisco 3750 switches, (2) 5510 ASAs, 2811 & 3825 routers, (2) Cisco 802.11n APs, (1) WLAN Controller, (2) MARS Gen-1 boxes, HP server for CSA-MC, Cisco Web Application Firewall, and ACS server (AAA). Trying to get Network Admission Control (NAC) network modules for wired/wireless integration within the routers, and an IPS module for the ASA firewall which will also integrate with wireless. Although I could simply run a VM image of the NAC Server & Mgr on the HP server for some cool shit. LOL Wow thats a hefty lab, have you just collected that much gear over time?

I think it sounds like you have some great plans for a well rounded education in IT. The courses seem to cover different areas and will keep you open to learn about each area and once you near completion of you BS/MS programs you can decide where you would like to specialize. I have my Bachelors in Information Systems Management, I actually didn't know what my specialization would be until after working for a year because I liked so many aspects, part of the reason I chose security. You need a good amount of knowledge and skills in multiple areas to be good. Best of luck to you, the road will not be easy but will end up being worth it. My degree has done will for me and my masters will push me even farther!!

Hello everyone, I did some searching through the topics and was unable to find a similar post that would give me a real definitive answer to my question so here goes. I finished my BS in Information Systems Management about a year ago and wasn't required to take a whole lot of math. Statistics I, Finite Math & Applied Calc. & Quantitative Analysis/Discrete Math. All 3 of those course I did in my first 2 semesters back in 04, and my background in High School they were fairly easy. Now I'm back in school for my masters in a program dealing with ALOT of math that I just don't remember well. So I was looking for any suggestions for a thorough refresher. I need to revisit Discrete Math/Digital Logic, Statistics, & Probability my security courses will be really tough without a good review in particular my crypto course. I have 2 picks for stats but was looking for an all in one book or online resource either will be great. Let me know what you think guys!!
