Title: CES 2007 - Hackers Playground?
Post by: don on January 09, 2007, 10:48:21 AM
I know CES stands for Consumer Electronics Show, but this is where a lot of new itiatives and cool toys come to market. Considering that the original term "hacker" was defined, basically, as a tinkerer, this is a great show to get cool stuff.

Here's a few sites covering CES:

- InfoWorld
 (http://www.infoworld.com/archives/t.jsp?N=s&V=84945)
 - PC Mag (http://www.pcmag.com/category2/0,1874,2034652,00.asp)

Check out new products like Intel's V8 - 8 core system and SlingMedia's new offerings. I have a SlingBox Pro, and it really works. I get my home TV on my laptop and cell phone. Too cool.
