Title: Secure Site
Post by: gray_hat on December 10, 2012, 01:24:25 AM
Hello,

I am fairly new to the site.

I have been wanting to post this - Since a long time.

I don't know who the owner of the website is.

May we please have a https login and a https forum.

I always wanted to talk about the layout of the forum. It is very narrow. I understand it is cell-phone friendly. But the text is way too small.

Some people may argue - To use the zoom feature of the browser.

Others might say leave the forum, go join the one you may life.

Well I am sorry, these are two suggestions I have for the forum.

Cheers and thanks for the great forum.

Regarding the layout, it is possible to get a wider view if you access the forums directly:

I do agree with an https login. Personally it stresses me out whenever I seen a sign up form on a website where I have to enter any PII or email address unencrypted...

What is a shame is that we are pentesters/ ethical hackers and what not. Our IP Addresses are logged over a http website.

It is a worse case scenario & a shame for all of us. I mean come-on those wanted to - Took down CIA / FBI websites. How are we so sure our privacy will never be compromised?

Not that I have anything to hide, but still. It is a bare minimum one can do.

Just a thought!
