Title: Metasploit Help Post by: millwalll on January 24, 2012, 04:57:51 AM Hi all,
I am watching some of the video on securitytube based on the exploit research and in the video he uses /pentest/exploits/framework3/tools and there are some ruby scripts in here. on my local system I am suing framework-4.0 when I got to the same directory there are no ruby scripts only a 7za script does anyone know if they moved of the tools ?? Title: Re: Metasploit Help Post by: millwalll on January 24, 2012, 06:36:26 AM I was looking for like msfpayload, the patters ones but all i done as quick fix was copy the script from framework3
Title: Re: Metasploit Help Post by: ziggy_567 on January 24, 2012, 07:40:06 AM You can now find msfpayload in:
/pentest/exploits/framework/ That "directory" is actually a link to: /opt/framework/msf3 If you're using msfpayload with msfencode to try to evade AV, they added msfvenom in MSF4 which is a more convenient way to create custom exploits with encoding to try to evade AV. Title: Re: Metasploit Help Post by: MaXe on January 24, 2012, 10:45:11 AM Check out the Metasploit Unleashed project:
http://www.offensive-security.com/metasploit-unleashed/Main_Page Msfvenom: http://www.offensive-security.com/metasploit-unleashed/Msfvenom ;D Should help you as well ;-) About the tools, I haven't tried Metasploit 4, or haven't looked in the tools directory recently, but most functionality in the tools directory has either been integrated into the other main tools, and e.g., the exploit dev tools like pattern_create and pattern_offset can also be found in "Mona" (a immunity debugger plugin made by Corelan) Title: Re: Metasploit Help Post by: millwalll on January 24, 2012, 11:41:38 AM cool thanks will look into it
