Title: The Pirate Bay Blocked in NL! Post by: j0rDy on January 12, 2012, 02:04:23 AM Maybe you have heard it already, but here is the deal: Some judge in the Netherlands decided that it would be a good idea to let some ISP block the pirate bay. TPB will not be available through these ISP. One of these ISP have already filed a new appeal, so it will probably be postponed for a while. Giving the fact that the Netherlands are all about freedom of speach and internet freedom, its quite a shock to see this happen in europe, let alone the Netherlands. also when we look at the verdict we see the word assume, which is not quite how the legal system works (we need proof if i recall correctly)
even TPB responded on the issue: (http://images.endandit.net/files/foto_tn/pirateorg.png) Title: Re: The Pirate Bay Blocked in NL!
