Title: Installing JTR on Ubuntu 11.10

Hi all,

I have john jumbo install on my system 1.7.8-jumbo-5 when I try install jumbo1.7.8-jumbo-8 it wont install.

I am using linux-x86-64

Code:

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [../run/john] Error 1
assessment/john/test/john-1.7.8-jumbo-8/src'
make: *** [linux-x86-64] Error 2

any help or advice would be nice thanks
that is the error i get when I try make clean linux-x86-64

Try "make clean generic" instead.

I tired that too think maybe due to version of openssl being used have to look into more.
