Title: Xx Xploits xX Post by: O_o on October 17, 2011, 09:40:07 PM I was doing some extensive exploit writing research(several goggle searches) and discovered that the only mentioned exploits were those of overflows-stack,heap,buffer,etc. are these the only type of exploits because none seem to beginner friendly?
Are there any good tutorials for writing web based exploits for beginners? Title: Re: Xx Xploits xX Post by: millwalll on October 18, 2011, 03:47:02 AM Writing exploits is no easy task. If you want to learn about writing exploits I recommend you read a lot there are lots good resources out there depending on what you want to do. I am no expert but I am sure there are more than just buffer overflows exploits but they are the most common.
Take a look at securitytube there are mega primes on there for exploit research. Saying you want to learn to write exploits is way too generic, even for web based ones. What do you want to focus on? SQLi, XSS, CSRF, RFI/LFI, auth bypass...? You should start by taking a look at OWASP.
