Hey xsurf,

Welcome to the forums.

That's a good question. Last time they updated Pentesting with BackTrack was last year in March (http://www.offensive-security.com/backtrack/pwb-v3-information-security-training-at-its-best/). According to the BackTrack wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BackTrack) page, that's a couple months after the initial release of BT4. I'd take a guess and assume they're going to update it for BT5 . You should send over your questions over to their Contact Form (http://www.offensive-security.com/contact/) and wait to hear an official answer.

I can only imagine how much fun PWB v4 can be. Plus upgrades between versions for existing students are kept affordable. If you get an official answer from them, please let us know!

Hi, i received the official answer from the Offensive-Security Team.

Answer:

Thank you for contacting us.
The difference between BT4 and BT5 is minor regarding the PWB course materials.
There is no plan for upgrading the course materials in the near future.

Note: Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Dominican Republic and english isn't my first language
