Hi,
I'm starting PWB this week anybody have any last minute recommendations before the course actually begins?

Currenty I have:
Basic python skills
Knowledge of Metasploit/Meterpreter
Basic manual exploit development skills (no metaploit involved)
Used to documenting my findings
Use Ubuntu and BackTrack in my lab
OSWP

If you've got the basics, as you'd listed, I'd say you'll do fine. The only other 'necessity' is........

TIME

If you've got that, you'll come out alright. As you're learning, if you have any questions not answered by the offsec folks, feel free to PM me on here.

Thanks hayabusa,

I have got plenty of time I believe, 60 days of lab access. I'll be doing the course at home and at work, but if I do run out of time extra lab time shouldn't be a problem as I'm company funded :)

Good luck. I would agree about time and perseverance! I would like to add great note taking . Really helps during report time. You will enjoy the pain, trust me. Sad but true. ;D

Your python skills will be really handy and the habit of documentation is really good and helpful.
