Title: New CEH - would like to purchase offical (legit) courseware

Hello all, first time posting, long time lurking and learning.

I just passed the CEH this morning, but there are some things I'd like to get deeper into. I used the Graves book and the "official" book by DeFino. They were OK in my opinion, but neither one of them really stood out. Fortunately I have a decent amount of experience in doing vulnerability scanning and some basic pen testing for work, so that helped a lot where the books fell a bit short.

I'd like to purchase a copy (legal, official, legimate) of someone's v6.1 official courseware if they'd be interested in selling it. I want to use it to dig in deeper in some of my weak areas and also get into the modules not officially covered on the exam.

I guess I should further clarify this (since I didn't during my original posting) that I am not looking for a copy of someone's courseware, but to purchase someone's actual official copy of the courseware. Important distinction.

Hi and welcome to EH.net. No worries. I would say your best bet is to go to Ebay if you are looking for the official courseware. Also EC-Council has an EC-Council Press series for Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures that you may be able to order through your local bookstore.

I may be posting my CEH v7 courseware on ebay in the next 2-3 weeks, just waiting to pass the v7 test first. I'll keep everyone updated.
