The only way to fix it is by going for the 'Resolve Now' m8 ;)

Did you obtain the Windows installation by legal means, or illegal?
If it's the former, then MS support will no doubt be a good resource.
If it's the latter, then this is not the forum to look for the answer, I'm afraid.

Your problem reminds me of my old days :) . I have used a lot of pirated stuff . Well to be quite honest you need to make changes in your registery for that but it may crash the registery, there are lot of tools to do so . These kinds of messages appear when you are using illegal copy of windows operating system , inorder to ignore such messages in future you need to disable automatic updates . Other than that I cant help you much on this forum

I actually got that message on my legit copy of Win7 about a month or two months ago. I believe I just clicked on 'resolve now' and it went out to Microsoft to re-validate my copy with no issues. Hasn't been a problem since. Thought it was kind of odd though but whatever, that's MS.

I got a customer were we replaced the motherboard for one exactly the same and when we turn on Windows 7 brequire to re-validate the copy but for any reason never worked. So we needed to re-install windows 7 again.

But if you got illegaly, so buy one.

You're right, windows doesn't have enough to even be considered. :)

I have been running linux as my home desktop since 2002. My brother (mentally retarded) since 2004, and my parents since 2005.

Not trying to start a flame war.

Buy a legal copy and install it. I think that gets rid of that problem.

Me thinks maybe somebody likes their 'MS-only', tied to high-end, expensive equipment games and such...
