Title: Anyone got the Professional version of Burp Suite? Post by: T_Bone on July 07, 2010, 01:30:13 AM I am considering purchasing the professional version of Burp. I currently use the free version and am quite a fan of it. The pro version costs only £150 a year and offers a vulnerabilty scanner as one of its features, has anyone ever used this and if so how good is it?

-You can save your results and continue your test at any time -Intruder is no longer limiting -frequent updates and functionality The scanner is ok, but like most web scanners it can miss glaring sql and xss which a competent web penetration tester would find immediately. The scanner is pretty decent though. Title: Re: Anyone got the Professional version of Burp Suite? Post by: T_Bone on July 20, 2010, 11:17:45 AM Cheers fiction!
Actually my manager asked me the other day if I felt i would do better with the pro version...stupidly i said no until i learn the basic version inside out!.... but in a few months I think i will make a request :) Title: Re: Anyone got the Professional version of Burp Suite? Post by: UNIX on July 20, 2010, 12:27:19 PM I can also recommend the pro version of burp - it's worth the money, especially as it isn't that much.
