i came arcoss this site a while back when i was playing with Arch Linux and some pentest live CDs. It gives a nice overview of monitoring tools installed in Linux (some by default):

Thanks, j0rdy. Will look through and see if there's anything new in here I wasn't aware of, as I always like to have resources for my clients to use.
