hi i'm a ubuntu Linux user and i was wondering if someone could post a tutorial on grabbing a password hash from a server.

can you please be more specific about the conditions/limitations? the first answer that comes into the head is "sudo cat /etc/shadow" :)

i mean from a remote server via SMB or for ubuntu SAMBA
