Hello

I've been fascinated by your forum ever since i've been browsing it as a guest. Curiosity got the better of me, so why not become a member?

I've been really fascinated by keyloggers. However, what if the person uses a virtual keyboard? Is there any way to capture mouse clicks? I've been using Captivate till now, but i believe if there is something like a 'clicklogger', i could use a combination of these tools instead.

Hardware-based keyloggers are not able to log inputs done through a virtual keyboard (mouse). However, software-based keyloggers are, at least the better ones.

There are some keyloggers which have mouse click tracking system; you could just google and choose whichever fits your need (and bill!). However, I found one here (http://www.bloggersbase.com/articles/technology/computers/bypassing-keyloggers/).

Also, I assume you need it for ethical reasons.

Thanks for the replies, and YES i intend to use it for ethical reasons only  ;D. Being in the elearning industry, i create a lot of online activities. Remembering the actions that are done to perform activities is a PITA, so i use Captivate to capture my actions. Just tried coming up with another constructive use for keyloggers.

I have seen a trojan which takes screenshots and uploads them whenever someone clicks.
