Title: Facial Expressions Test Post by: don on January 22, 2009, 11:33:13 PM Quote Facial Expressions Test How good are you at interpreting facial expressions? Take our test and find out. By Meridith Levinson Here is a brief quiz to test your ability to correctly identify the emotion behind facial expressions. To take the quiz, click a numbered button below to view images of individuals. These images will change briefly to display an expression. After the expression has flashed click on the word that describes the expression you have identitied. If you were wrong, click on another word button until you are told you are right. After the expression has flashed, you can press the corresponding numeric key on your keyboard to hold the expression on the screen. This interactive graphic is based on "The Micro Expression Training Tool" developed by Paul Ekman, PH.D., a professor of psychology at the University of California Medical School in San Francisco. after watching Lie to Me I was thinking I'd be better than I managed, only got 3 of the 10 first time aroud (and somehow managed only 2/10 second time ???). Anyone done any better? Title: Re: Facial Expressions Test Post by: Ketchup on August 26, 2009, 06:25:36 AM I was about 50% / 60%. I apparently have issues recognizing Anger, Disgust and Contempt. I seem to get those confused. I even got them wrong on the second round. I wish I took more psychology in school :)
Title: Re: Facial Expressions Test Post by: UNIX on August 26, 2009, 06:45:22 AM At least the spampost was somehow useful as it bumped this thread. :O
Surprisingly I did quite well with this test, though mainly because of the quick flash which is shown at the beginning. Quite interesting though how much can be read just because of an expression in ones face. Thanks Mr Spammer ;) Title: Re: Facial Expressions Test Post by: jason on August 26, 2009, 10:10:49 AM And its a repeat of my earlier post too :P

Title: Re: Facial Expressions Test Post by: g00d_4sh on August 27, 2009, 06:51:13 PM Ouch! Seriously though, good find Don. I got about 40% on the first round. I DID click on the button to display the face a couple times though on each one. It flips by so quick it is nearly impossible to see what the changes are without 'rewinding' it a time or two.
