Title: Similar book to Daemon? Suggestions?
Post by: p0et on September 16, 2008, 04:50:29 PM
I'm going on a week and a half vacation, but can't find a travel book that peeks my interest.  Instead I'd like to find a more technological novel such as Daemon which I loved. Any suggestions on a novel to bring with me?  I'm leaving this Friday.

Thanks guys!

If you've not read it "the cookoos egg" by Cliff Stoll is a great read.

It certainly has a infosec/hacker story but it's not just a book for geeks.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson is a great read. I don't recall any other novels featuring a Perl script :)
