Title: laptop battery Post by: iSmith on July 04, 2008, 01:59:57 PM Hey, did you guys know that you can remove your laptop battery while the laptop is still on? :o this improves battery life-heat damages lithium-ion batteries.

Title: Re: laptop battery Post by: jimbob on July 05, 2008, 02:59:44 PM Not all laptops will work with the battery removed, even if they are plugged into the mains. Removing the battery while the laptop is powered up is risky and should be avoided. Consider buying a second battery rather than bricking your laptop!

Did you know you can sit down on a train-track aswell? Wouldn't recommend either as I've previously had a shock (only little one) from trying to play with a 'live' laptop battery. User beware....
