Hi all,

I am pretty new to security but somthing I have been intrested in for while now. I decided to try get my CEH first of all and just want any help or advice on how to start. Also how can I find where I would need to take exam ? I have had look on their website but could not see anything. If anyone can recommend any books or website that may help. I saw this book

That is a great book for the CEH exam. I highly recommend getting it.

You take the exam at Vue/Prometric testing centers (http://www.vue.com, http://www.prometric.com), but I think you need to either have 2 years experience in the security field or take one of the training classes to get the code to take the exam.

This is also an excellent book on Ethical Hacking.

Although it does not make for a great CEH book that matches closely with the courseware modules, Counter Hack Reloaded is a very cool book. It will show you how it is really done. Highly recommended if you want to expand your understanding and take the tools you learn in your CEH studies to the next level.
