Title: Creating an image of a server for pen testing… Post by: Dissident85 on May 07, 2008, 06:38:54 PM Hi all, I am trying to do some pentesting at work and am running into a few brick walls as you can see in my other thread Pentesting. But what I am having trouble doing is trying to get a image of a server into vmware. The image file is a .v2i and I am trying to boot the machine in vmware a .vmdk file. Dose anyone know of a way to convert the backup image file into a vmware virtual disk? I have looked around on google and had no luck. Please help!
