another similar theme to your malware analysis is the "follow the bouncing malware" by by Tom Liston in isc.sans.org (http://isc.sans.org)

This is the hour and a half audio recording and the PPT of his workshop at ChicagoCon last year. You literally get to see the breaking apart of a malware case from attack through reverse engineering to analysis. It was awesome.

I should really publicize this more. ???

possibly, know it just got bookmarked for later on. Now if I could just find an excuse not to go shopping with the missus.... ;)
