Title: CEH Lab Setup Post by: spayre on February 15, 2006, 02:20:25 AM My friend wants to setup a lab to do CEH training. I was wondering what as to how to prepare the computer lab? What needed to be installed?

What you build in the internal network, is pretty much up to you. A third machine to run a proxy server would be nice. Just a suggestion. ;D Title: Re: CEH Lab Setup Post by: don on February 15, 2006, 10:02:23 AM Oyle makes some good suggestions. You may also want to try:
Hope this helps, Don Title: Re: CEH Lab Setup Post by: Oyle on February 15, 2006, 12:56:50 PM It would also be nice to read up on URL deobfuscation, just so you're on top of it. It really is pretty cool.
Best website I know of that explains it: http://wwww.pc-help.org/obscure.htm (http://www.pc-help.org/obscure.htm) -OR- http://www.playboy.com@3468664375/obscure.htm (http://www.playboy.com@3468664375/obscure.htm) -OR- http://235396898359/obscure.htm (http://235396898359/obscure.htm) -OR- http://0xCE.191.0236.0x37/obscure.htm (http://0xCE.191.0236.0x37/obscure.htm) Guess what? They are ALL the same thing!! OK, maybe you don't need to know it to setup your own internal network lab, but you WILL need to know it for the CEH exam, and it wasn't covered in the class I took. Good to know....
