Title: any idea when miles2 is launching Certified Pen Testing Expert CPTE exam..

any idea when miles2 is launching Certified Pen Testing Expert CPTE exam.. at prometric. Initialy they announced that the exam at prometric will be available in Dec end and there is no news after that.

another question, will it be really worth to pass this certification as miles2 is not that popular ..

I can neither confirm nor deny...

Rumor has it that this will be a practical exam and final details are being hashed out now for release this year (hopefully first half). So this will be similar to SANS GIAC certs where you have 2 levels of certification. Silver is the multiple choice exam usually given by VUE or Prometric and Gold is the practical exam administered by the organization itself.
